Our Colony
Since these photos were taken the colony has swelled to 18 beavers. I’m in the middle (opposite photo) enrolling my only young lady beaver it would be nice to have more.
Enrolling New Beaver Scouts
A Special Evening Activity
I try to make it interesting each Monday evening we meet. Archery is one activity, which is always a favourite. We are lucky to have a Scout Leader who is qualified to teach this. Others are cookery which includes baking buns etc to sell at special Xmas fairs, learning camp fire songs which we have a camp every year with a parent each and show off our singing ability. We also go on away trips with our district or another group.
I am lucky to have good parents who will help out with most activities and trips. The evening ends with usually a noisy goodnight Beavers (ear piercing).
